KEEP IT CLEAN

I am possibly the only person to ever make a video about their favorite dish soap and their favorite sponge. I am also probably the last person to do so.

I really don’t want to steal any thunder from my very exciting video, so I will end my post now. Enjoy!

(I do need to note that some types of cellulose are natural. I hope I didn’t give too much away!)

OMG…Claudia. I don’t know what made me laugh harder: your header comments or apologizing to soap/sponge companies for your negative comments. Are you even authorized to be on the rooftop?! Great video and I will definitely try Method next time I’m at Target. Did you buy the cheapie sponge at the 99cent store? Right price tag for me!

I put my dishsoap in a neat & clean stainless steel soap dispenser and have emblazoned it with a label, made with my handy-dandy labeler, entitled “Dish Soap” so that when people come over to my house and wash my dishes (this does actually happen after I cook for them, strangely enough) or try to wash their hands in my kitchen sink, they know what kind of soap is in the nice-looking soap dispenser on the counter beside the sink. This way all I have to buy are the huge bottles of refills of whatever dishsoap is on sale, usually at Costco, which is where I also buy the huge bag of both the blue and the green scotch brite sponges so that I have both the abrasive and non-abrasive scrubbing capability and new ones at the ready when the old ones need to take a bath in the dishwasher. Not exactly green, but thrifty and effective. And I want to know why you’re on the roof, too.

I’m on the roof because I like the sky and it seems like a nicer place than my living room to shoot. I would shoot somewhere else, but there are always people around!
